Botanic Gardens can tell you a lot about a city’s heritage as well as horticulture. They are usually in some of the oldest parts of town, and boast not just plants but also inherent qualities that make up a localities own sense of place. One of my favourite is the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney.
